The best design doesn't just improve products. It improves the process.
Designers work in Figma, but stakeholders present with PPT decks which creates a manual, time-consuming handoff.
Existing solutions solve part of the problem. Screenshot exports lose editability, while PPT recreation tools sacrifice visual accuracy. No free solution delivered both in Figma.
LIMITATIONS
Powerpoint is not a design tool. It is impossible to recreate every Figma element as a native PPT object with the goal of making everything fully editable.
Additionally, Powerpoint and Figma don't share the same point scale so the conversion is off- including font sizes and the exact positioning.
SOLUTION
The plugin bridges the gap between Figma and PPT by preserving visual fidelity and editability. Designers can maintain a single source of truth in Figma while stakeholders receive presentation-ready slides that are easy to edit and review.
This workflow reduces repetitive handoff work without compromising design quality.

RESULTS
Designers maintain a single source of truth in Figma, while stakeholders receive editable, presentation-ready PowerPoint decks. This eliminates repetitive handoffs without compromising design quality.
The same workflow that simplifies presentations also removes friction from the localization process.
Localization
EXISTING SOLUTIONS
Previously, we set up PowerPoint files with the English design and fields for translated copy. This required manual preparation and gave content strategists little visibility into how their translations would fit. Copy often overflowed the text boxes, creating another round of layout and type adjustments for each language.

Another approach was to export the English graphic and overlay editable text boxes. That meant manually matching the font, size, weight, and position of every text element, then covering the original English text with a background fill.
WITH PLUGIN
The plugin eliminated manual file setup and gave content strategists an editable mockup, so they could see how translated copy fit and keep it within the text boundaries.
What started as a shortcut to avoid designing in PowerPoint became a scalable workflow for localization and executive presentation handoffs.
Every limitation invites a better solution.
